I have a confession to make: I have always taken relationships very seriously. Too seriously, perhaps. At every stage. IMHO, Love was an action, something precious, to be taken seriously and treated with sacred reverence. After all, this was my potential husband, my RELATIONSHIP, and I had to choose wisely. I had to be sure to ask the right questions, have the proper check-ins, make sure that we were on the same page at every stage of the development. I needed us to like the same things- it was important that he prayed, that he read, and especially that he could talk, because I love a good conversation. Oh, and let me not forget the sex. It had to be good. consistently. I needed a partner who could rock my world- mind, body, and spirit.
